just get one from any 1272cc mk3 polo, the head casting is all the same.  The only difference with a g40 head is the sodium filled exhaust valves.  If you have the valves from a damaged g40 head then you can swap them or at least just use the non-sodium filled valves, should be fine if you're fuelling is setup ok and the engine isn't going to get too hot.

As said anny 1272 cc mk3 head here all the same the onley diffence is the sodium exhaust valves just use your old 1s or he gentle on the std valvs dont race it to hard and get them hot lol
