New pm notification window keeps popping up!

the new pm notification window keeps popping up when i come onto the forum and i don't actually have a new pm to read!

whats the crack?

That pm window has always come up on mine since i joined last year. Is it not a setting on your account?

it does pop up but only if i have a new pm, i currently don't have any pm's (ie, i have read all my pm's) but it still pops up saying i got a new pm when i don't.

I can't see any reason for this, can you try deleting the cookie for the site on your computer?  Can you PM me your password so I can login as you to see what happens?
