struggles going in gear after a few miles

it goes in gear but struggles after a few miles but is fine going in gear before that. could something be getting warm or low on gearbox oil maybe.

will do, thought that might be the case. i have had the car 8 years and never really done anything to the gearbox. so will check the oil tomorrow.

yeah you need to replace that oil for definate!!

Check clutch is disengaging properly. Cable may have stretched.

will have to look at the cable as the clutch pedal is nearly to the floor before i feel any pressure and a very small biting point. but i assumed that it was because it was a ceramic helix jobby from pitstop

where is the hole to fill the gearbox oil. is it on the front of the gearbox

on side - 17mm hex, near driveshaft
