hello, ive fallen in love with the g40 polo. but im only 19, cheapest quote ive had of comparethemarket was 1600, do you reckon there are any other places that are cheaper or i should just get a GT first? i currently drive a 1.6gl polo mk4, but i also have a mk2 golf gti 8v. thanks alot, Olly

im 20 mate, insured the g when i was 19, cost me 1500. just do it, its worth the extra couple of quid ;-)

see thats what i was thinking, one off my mates said get a polo gti but i thought why bother. when i can get a g40 wich in my opinion is 10X better and more or less the same on insurance

Search threads on here for 'Insurance' and loads of ppl recommending different companies. Maybe you'll get the price down a bit

Yeah try giving Brentacre a call, +44 (0)1792 650 933. I got a really good quote with them and that was with all my mods declared.
