Can anybody feedback what brand of oil they have successfully used, semi synth preferably, as I can't get hold of what I used to use. Many years ago I had a huge oil leak (ended up changing all the seals and rebuilding supercharger) and I would like to avoid that again. I am still running W5DPOs for spark plugs but have seen topics elsewhere to help me with that, if anybody has some fresh thinking with that then please pop it below, car is standard. Most of these topics are getting old now, and a search has not thrown up much

I still use quantum semi synth 10w40, normally get it off ebay. But to be honest any decent branded 10w40 semi-synth will be fine.

For plugs I use the NGK equivalents of W4DPO, BPR8EIX is the current part code I think, does change sometimes. I think BPR7EIX would be the W5DPO equivalent which is fine in a standard G40 (mine is turbo'd so I prefer to use the colder plugs).
