Cor, I thought i was the only g40 in Leicester village! !! I'd love to help with anything!! Its a busy day tomorrow but what are you doing at the weekend?
Ive got a photo of the engine with a screwdriver sticking out the starter hole that must have helped with the belt when the engine was out....

Cool, small world!! I hope mine doesn't get jealous if it smells another G40 on me!

Did I see you'd got some dizzys halves? I've got a couple to throw in a "pot", I think at least one is a G40 one.. The halls knackered up on one the day I bought the car..
Can't think of ought I need parts-wise but there might be yet. I'd love to come over Saturday afternoon, which bus is it? I used to get the 38 from my ends to yours when I was at LETG for a month welding 25 years ago.!
