65mm pulley on 60mm pulley chip
« on: July 31, 2014, 07:57:55 pm »
Hopefully someone can help...

I bought the car with 60mm pulleys and all runs fine, so i can only assume it has a chip to match (there is no paperwork to prove this). I am wanting to change to 65mm pulleys and eventually a custom map. However, in the short term the car won't be moving much and when it does it won't be over 3k as i've just had the charger rebuilt.

Is there anything seriously wrong with running this set up for a little while, at least until i can get it professionally mapped?

Thanks in advance

Joe

From past experience I had standard map put 65mm toothies on and no problem used it for 8000 miles and nothing but went I put the chipped ecu on the same car the power was mental to standard chip hopefully Andy (ppp) will agree  it's not ideal but it is useable ,but like I said it's only from experience

Ben,
