I love the g40 so I buy a original one :)
I need your help (I do not Know very much about g40 but I want to learn :) ;
I love the G40 and bought an original. I would like to get more power but reliably. Could you please help me ? Another thing is the brakes and suspension, what is the best choice?
Considering the chassis problem it's better reinforce right?
My fear is the retentor of glader :( any way to avoid this kind of problems?
A friend tell me that they are very good houses to purchase material.

Sorry for all questions,
Thanks for your help.

welcome to the forum.

these questions have all been answered several times before and you'll find lots of info by browsing the technical sections and using the search.

But in summary:

- more power to start with means charger service and porting, smaller pulley (65mm is the ideal) and possibly toothed belt conversion.  Then a chip.

- first thing with the brakes is to just service the existing ones.  Change the fluid, decent set of pads and discs.  For the original 239mm brakes go for standard Brembo discs and a decent set of pads such as Ferodo DS2500.

- Suspension really depends what you want.  Koni yellows are good shocks to use.  Then some slightly lowered springs such as 40mm.  Or if you want to go all out, then some coilovers are good but expensive.  Gaz make some but there's also a set or two for sale in the for sale section.

- chassis reinforcement, the best thing is to look at the subframe options in the PPP section.  They make a huge difference.

If you are worried about the G-Lader don't be.  They are fine if you keep them serviced regularly and don't use a pulley smaller than 65mm.  Also drive the car with some mechanical sympathy, don't go hitting the rev limiter or holding too high revs for too long, once it's got past 6500 on a standardish engine, the power is dropping off anyway so change gear.

Hope that helps!
