I have been toying with doing this for a while and to be honest I'm still not totaly sure but i really dont use it as it should be used.I've owned this since 2004 an has been back on the road 6 months after 4 years being built. The engine conversion was done by the phirm to a very high standard and later refined by me with polishing and painting to create the look i wanted.

polo 6n origianally 1.6 cl so has electric window central locking and electric mirrors
mileage on clocks is 136k which is very close to the g40 mileage and slighly more than the car would need to check paperwork to be sure

i have alot of reciepts but lost some in my house move but have build pics to prove work carried out
has mot and tax till april i think but will check

Work done most  in the last 5 years which have seen less than 2k

Engine

G40 engine conversion with all gaskets and seals replaced always run on quantum sytna oil
atv internals in 6n gearbox casing
full blend charger only 100 miles since freshen up  (i say freshen up as only 1 bearing and all seals were replaced)
toothed pulleys
gt inlet
4 branch
full stainless exhaust with diesel style tailpipe with painted hangers and new vw heat sheilds
alloy header tank
new rad
all new leads cap rotor serviced in the last 100 miles
big frontmount ic
stainless boost pipes with black samco hosing
new clutch done less than 2k

Suspension/Steering/Brakes

new genuine vw subframe and bottom arms powder coated in silver with new bushes and ball joints
recon non pas steering rack with new track control arms (pas removed as supercharger sits where pump would sit)
rear beam sand blasted and powdercoated silver replaced with new vw bushes
ebc grooved and spotted front discs with green stuff pads
new front wheel bearings with black painted hubs and callipers
new rear shoes, cylinders, adjusters and wheel bearings
g max 60mm shocks and springs approx 6 years old
RH Toplines 7x15 with 195/45/15 goodyear eagle f1s done about 1.2k only set I've seen
new inner and outer cvs

Interior

full 6n2 gti black leather seats with 6n2 rear cards and 6n cards trimed to match
genuine vw fitted carpet matts
golf mk3 centre console with boost guage
chrome hand brake and gear knob with leather gaitors
fully cabled up for stereo including 4 guage power cable and speaker cables with gold terminals
golf 16v clocks (160 mph) with seat ibiza orange needels
clifford concept 650 cat 1 alarm fitted about 7 months ago

Body

single wiper
clear indicators
badgeless grill
6n2 rears
16v bumpers
mk1 golf gti style side stripes
grey roof to match wheels and stripes
factory tinted glass
16v bootlid
wings bonnet bumpers mirrors grill surround roof wheels have all been resprayed

The body isnt imacculate but very presentable only 1 small dent in the top of the passengers rear quarter and the very odd chip around the bottom of the doors from wider wheels.Id always planned on repainting the rest of the car this winter after id used it this summer but i think it best to move it on to someone who will get more enjoyment out of it

so to sum up it has a nice spec with most serviceable parts replaced everything works as it should and doesnt use/leak any fluids and is exceptional fun to drive a goes very well and if i didnt have a house to finish andhad  more time to use it i wouldnt be selling it
All in I've spent over 11k on this car over the 7 years I've owned it and the only thing i regret is  not using it although I'm sure ill regret selling it.I planned on doing as many shows as possible this year but so far I've only managed 1 stonor park vw show and got second place in the lupo polo class and was beaten by 1 point by a lupo and the judge was from pvw ????????(89 points out of 100 in concours class)

Theres probably bits I've missed and ill add as i remember but for a bit more info check my build thread out here
