New Member Grey G40

Hi all. Just to introduce myself and my G40. Been a few years since I was last in a Polo (had a GT Coupe which i wish i never sold) and its good to be back.

Restoration due to start at the end of the summer.

If Jason's dad is called Ron and lives in South Wales, then yes!

OEM+ restoration... hopefully.

Going to run her through the summer as a second car and take care of any minor issues that might pop up, then full strip, sort the shell, rebuild engine, box etc.....

So hopefully this time next year she should be looking showroom fresh!

Nice to see another grey one. I also have a totally stock grey one. Are you going to pull the pinstripes off as i think they they don't help at all.

Yep pinstrips are going. Only problem with them is, they got lacquered over and touched in with paint, so they wont come of till she get repainted.
