POLOMON

Hi All,
After a couple of relays, i believe for the engine management and the fuelling?

Ive traced wires anyway and the pinout sais its these things:

If anyone knows the part numbers or even has some known good working ones could they let me know please :D
Ive heard one or maybe both might be differant to the 1.0 loom originally in the car.

Regards,
Ben

assuming that's the connector that clips to the side of the ECU bracket then yes it's the ECU relay and the fuel pump/injectors relay.  I seem to recall them being g40/gt specific (or at least one of them is).  They didn't used to be expensive from VW.

Ive no trasport to get to VW though thats my only issue and its 6/7 miles away haha.

I'd just ebay it but you know what some of the ads are like for listing part numbers.....

If anyone's got a pic of the actual relays, I'm pretty sure I've got some.

POLOMON

Ive had a scout about and found nothing, i might be able to get a part number for a fuel one mind but thats it....

the fuel relay is just a number 53 relay. grab one out of any vw or audi in a scrap yard.
The G40 ECU relay however is unique and obsolite. i made my own following the diagram on the side of a genuine original- its again a number 53 but with a loop back from pin 86 to the middle pin 87a using a simple diode. i made 1 and tested it and it works but i dont know how long it would work for until i test it for a length of time. i really need to get ahold of a knackered one so i can find out the exact diode number that was used.

Ahh i see, well if you do happen to find said info im very intrested in one Kiz.

I have the stock relays in the 1.0 loom so i'll steal the 53 relay from that :D Just that persky ECU relay!
