right im on the hunt for some injectors, im sure i need 310cc ones but wont to make sure

my spec is

eaton charger
19% pulley ( around 22PSI )
1.5 BAR map sensor
4 branch manifold
piper 252/276 camshaft

i will be having it maped by PPP after but wont to make sure it the best it could be before so 310cc or 240cc injectors??? i think ill be needing the 310ccs but just wont to double check....

last off what do we think ill be running once its mapped???

I would have said 310cc too but you need to speak to PPP if they are going to remap it.

From what Liam and Steve told me, they had problems getting the correct emisions (e.g. holding them open for short enough time on idle) on 1341's with redtops, so I guess redtops would be to large for a 1272

Frode - the 1341cc are 9:1 CR, and generally speaking need a fair amount less fuel on idle than an 8:1 CR 1272cc lump. The difference between the fuelling on Hayesey's 1272cc turbo and Robin's 1341cc turbo at idle is significant, and they both run the same cam and injectors.

The AAV turbo (9.5:1) I mapped was tricky to get the fuelling down at idle, even on 250cc injectors, but using the correct style (single pintle) type of injectors made a big difference too.

So woud you recommend me using the 310cc injectors with my eaton G40??

Andy

Yes, I think you should be fine given what others have used - but only time will tell!
