Ok, so I've finally had enough of this stupid eaton and all it's lil problems and would like abit more reliability so have decided to look into going turbo. Are the forged pistons I have (accralite) suitable for turbo use? Most likely be a K03 due to availability of parts.

Yeah they'll be fine - I can think of at least a couple of people using them with a K03 already. It's all down to the map - something not to skimp on and worth every penny for a good one (see PPP!).

Accralites are fine Jon- both Andy, Robin and myself use them (and lots of others), with a K03 and the right cam they give a nice drivable car off boost, and the tiny K03 will pump enough to give over 200bhp, with a nice spread of torque all over.

How come you're selling the eaton, I thought it was almost there?

vwmk3jon

Sweet. Cheers guys.

Yoof - I thought it was but it still eats belts, cuts out and generally doesnt play ball at times and feels slower than a G-lader, even at full throttle!!! Most likely start with 1272 bottom end as the engines daisy fresh.
