Engine Splutter/Misfire?

Hello, I recently brought a mk4 polo with a g40 engine in it.

When we brought it the bloke told us, when you have been in boost then drive normally again the car will all of a sudden splutter/misfire.

On the way driving back after picking it up we drove normal then give it some. As we went to pull out of a turning it julted and carried on to do so every 5 - 10 seconds. It would only do this after boost, not before or whilst in boost.

I was told that the timing could be out and someone also said it could be running to lean (neither were 100% sure not having tested it themselves).

Could anyone please help

Ok, thanks mate.

Read through it. Will check plugs etc.. when i get the chance.. Just hope its nothing too expensive
