Starter motor

Does anybody know if all starter motors are the same thoughout the mk3 polo range or are the g40s more powerful.i cannot find the answer to this question elsewhere hence why I'm asking here.i need a replacement for my g40 and don't want to buy the wrong one if I need a specific one

same.  g40s would be less powerful if anything as it's a low compression engine.  But they are all the same anyway.
