hey peeps just got my beloved g back but wondered whats the best type of oil is best for a completely standered engine,and i am now thinking of what braided brake hoses were a good bet any help much appreciated !!! many thanks. Plug

I use 10W40 Castrol magnetic

But any 10W40 semi synthethic will be ok.

no, 10w40 is correct for a g40 engine.

Synta silver in my G, available from VW.

My VW has stopped doing synta silver, there stuff is now 5w40 and not the same.
