Putting my new one on this weekend.

Looking to replace the nuts, are the copper nuts?

Also would it be worth replacing the exhaust manifold bolts?

dub-disaster

Nuts are copper pinch nuts and there studs mate and I'd replace them as they male
life easier to take off in the future

There the ones, couldnt remember what they were called. Did you find it easy when you took yours out?

Jezza-7

Also which length are they?

Dont wanna take them out yet incase i snap one or something.

its worth doing it now if you are changing your manifold. the studs stretch and you may find they dont do your new exhaust up enough. they do also snap on undoing them as they have been heated and cooled so many times. the studs are 28mm long and are a m8 thread.
as said - they are copper pinch nuts.
i used a tool like this to get my studs out and it worked PERFECT!

mine wasnt this expensive (£10 at a market) but its the best tool EVER! for this job.

oh yer - they should have washers on aswell mate - 8.4id x 15od x 1.6thick and my VW receipt shows the part number
+ N 011 558 11

and whilst im looking at it
studs are + N 044 410 4
Nuts are + N 900 850 01
and you will need 5 of each - part numbers are as of December 2007 but shudnt be any different to now.
