crankshaft seal

alrite all just another quickie question as regards to a previous post about an oil leak i took the polo to jabba sport and they seem to think that my crankshaft seal is  leaking  . so what i need to know from you helpful lot is how big is this job to fix, i have the seal so just need info as to what im getting myself into thank you as always matt

which side, the drivers side or passenger (big end) side.

Both are a bit involved - big end side is behind flywheel so its a box/clutch/flywheel off

the drivers side is basically a timing belt job + removal of the crank bolt
