engline flooding

took g40 for mot and passed with flying colours got home it was idling on drive way
and cut out tryed restarting no joy.

took pluges out and turned over and its piling fuel out lots and lots of it
dont know were to start checked spark its getting a good one just geting drowned
with petrol its ever driping out the front pipe think its poorly again any pointer would
be appreciated.

is it just flooded because it wont start for some reason?  You'll soon get lots of unburnt fuel in the cylinders if you are trying to start it for a while.  

test for a spark, remove a plug, connect it to it's HT lead again and then hold it against the rocker cover using some pliers.  Make sure the metal threads of the plug touch the cover.  Then get someone else to try starting the car (disconnect the fuel pump relay first so the engine wont actually start) and look for the spark.  It should be a nice thick spark.  If it looks weak then chances are it's not firing at all inside the engine where it's under pressure and surrounded by fuel vapour.

defo not the spark if you disconnect fuel pump relay it starts up on the fuel in the cylinders
for 30 seconds or so connect relay bk up it wont start and flloded again
ive tried blue temp sensor and a gt ecu still does the same.

hmm, are the injectors stuck open or something?  Or possibly a knackered fuel pressure regulator?  Try putting a pressure gauge on the end of the fuel rail when you are trying to start it to see what the fuel pressure is doing.  Could also take out the fuel rail with injectors still connected, disconnect the cable from it (so the ecu doesn't fire the injectors) and prime the pump by turning the ignition on, see if any of the injectors are leaking.
