Just changed my in tank lift pump for a new genuine one from vw and the part numbers are the same (keep reading)the old pump is suposed to be a 1l fuel pump and the new one is suposed to be a g40 one anyone know if they are all the same

In-tank pumps are all the same. In-line pumps are different.
