Car No. 52 - An atlas grey 52k Coupe S. Finally get to use my Mk2 G40 front spoiler after however many years and a bunch of other bits.

So I started on the engine, a 58k G40 lump, changed every gasket and seal on the bottom end, hopefully wont leak for once!

One of my special uprated kevlar clutches...

Attatched it to a lightened flywheel.

Got some bits from the powdercoaters.

Then I started cutting holes.

To fit this in...

Now I just want to sling the lump in and drive it, but the engine bay lets it down really, not sure I can be arsed to paint it all though. Hmmmm.

Get it painted... it will be worth the wait!

quiksilver_jake

liking the colour of the gearbox! ;D

Phil

Think I'm going to have to  ::)

Cut the front panel for the G lader...

Chopped a new front panel to make the boltable flap.

Then started marking up some squares to give the cooler some air, might cut them tomorrow.

Nice work Phil, Mk2's are where it's at. 8)
You might as well paint the engine bay, as the engine and box look very nice. Seems a shame to put 'em in a untidy bay.
'Suppose you'll drive it like you stole it once it's all done eh Phil? ;D

g40chris

i would deffo paint the bay myself, but its up to you really, if you wanna drive it that much then go for it. progress looks good as well
