OEM question!

I've just bought an original tow eye and jack for the G i was just wondering if anyone knew where they were originally located on the car?

There are some clips on the right hand side wall of the boot and i've always wondered what they were for, if they are anything to do with it?

Yes, toe eye and Jack (with added screwdriver) clip in on the RHS of the boot.

proper oem also have a bbs threaded adaptor in the wheel brace, which allows you to bolt the bbs down in the wheel well.  They also came with a rubber band round the brace head - presumably to avoid it rubbing down the alloy wheel bolt holes
