fuel pump/pumps

can any1 tell me if i need to change both pumps on g40 conversion brought new in tank pump already also anywhere i can get an in line pump from? rember seeing somewhere mk3 gti are the same is this right if so is it the 16v or 8v pump needed?? if not is there any pumps the same in the vag group?? with thanks james

a mk3 golf pump def isnt the same as a mk3 polo one.  It's unique to polo g40/gt/nz as far as I know.
