Right I will try and explain this the best I can..

Just bought back my old g40.  Prior to buying her the seller ran her to make sure battery was okay etc.

Night before I collected her he could not get her to run.  The fuel pump was not priming when the ignition was switched on.

I trailered her home and started to look in detail.  Now I have constant live at the connector where the Fuel relay houses.  The fuel pump is not getting power However I hooked up a 12v feed to the pump and it runs fine.

The Ecu relay clicks when the ignition is switched on(However it may still be duff)?

I tried bridging the fuel relay as well but still nothing. No pump priming, no injectors clicking etc...

Any advice folks???

Check the yellow blade fuse just above the main fuse box.

all fuse block wires are properly in contact with the relays? Is the earth to the rear pump properly attached. its under the boot carpet

I'll check.

When the ignition is switched on is it the lift pump that primes(not the inline one)?

Problem solved, the ECU was faulty.
