Rothe manifold group buy
« on: May 15, 2014, 04:43:32 pm »
Right rothe Motorsport said they dont make them anymore but they will if we can get 10 people together as a group buy pay in advance 4-6 week turn around, but they ant cheap €670 so about £555 it is a lot but they are the best turbo mani around.
Anyone of any interest?

That's some serious money for a manifold - for that much I am pretty sure you can have a fabricated manifold made by places like JP exhausts.

That's alot of money!!
Jp exhausts won't make one robin. They said they don't think tubular manifolds are strong enough for a turbo application and will eventually crack. Phoned them after I found rothe don't do them anymore. So that's straight from their mouth

Give Rob a shout as TSR.

They make them for all their 1.8 and 2.0 t engines. might be able to cater for the G40?

Im popping down there actually on saturday morning so i will ask for you.

Is it specifically a cast one you're after, or any manifold suitable for a K03?

Spoke to TSr today, they said the guy they use could do them but it would need to be a group buy and the price would be not far off what your already looking at.

The weld repair wouldn't bother me. I was going to bid on it and run it on my car and then sell mine but it went over the piece I was willing to pay for it.
