i rang this up and he'd take £3k

but close pics, the grill rail doesnt look straight
wrong size tyres
off road most of the time (i.e. years off the road)
never had a cambelt
heater doesnt work (on any setting)
badges missing
generally dirty, unpolished, faded trim.

I decided to keep mine!

Let me enlighten you to this car chaps-
A while back it was on ebay, Twice.
The 1st time around it had several pics

And bidding went as normal so i bid upto £2k.
I was naturally outbid given the description of the car.
Then it ended and there was a winning bidder at somewhat
more than the 2k i bid.
Suddenly, it appeared on ebay again and i was sent a email
of a second chance offer of Buy it now at £1500
Strange that it made so much the 1st time around & then reappeared
at a much lower price.
I sent numerous emails asking bout it and never got a reply.
I gave up after getting alarm bells ringing in my head & then
Received an email from Ebay saying that this ad was fraudulent and was
promptly removed.
I was lead to believe that more than one person had parted with the
buy it now price of £1500.
It has been briefly on ebay since and is now on autotrader.co.uk
Personally, i would deal with this car with great caution.

PS, all the pics were small on the original ebay ad and i mailed him for bigger ones and never got a reply. i kept these pics after ebay announced it were dodgy.

wasn't dodgy i dont think. Was just the goofs didnt know how to use ebay.

I got an address, phone number and email addresses for the car and hi-res photos. Spoke to them a couple of times.

and yet from what i can tel on my pics it looks quite tidy.
Wonder if its been outside ever since then Pete to end up as u`ve seen.
On the 1st ebay listing i drooled at it.
Sounds like things easily fixed anyway.
Tho it sounds like maybe you think its been bashed Pete.

think it'd be a nice car... but needs some tlc. I know my charger is healthy, cambelt, waterpump, thermostat, housing, cleaned injectors, new bearings all round, new exhaust on mine made me think twice. It also doenst have an alarm or immobilser which the insurance likes

I dont think its an original backbox from the pics either.
