Hello everyone! For some time now I am collecting parts for my project (g40 engined Arosa) and I am now at the proses of making things fit! What I have found is that the Arosa and G40 radiators are not the same and the G40 one will not fit in the original spot without some major cutting. I was wontering if I could either use the standard Arosa one or If a newer model one that will fit. Any suggestions? I know some people have already done this before but I couldn't find the info! Project pictures soon to be uploaded!

I don't see why you couldn't use any radiator as long as you can plumb it in and it's capable of keeping the engine cool.  The g40 rad isn't anything special and is pretty small, so I can't see the much newer arosa one being any worse!

Bit of trial an error I'd say, you just need to look for a rad with the outlets on the right side for your pipework, I'd also say try get a twin core radiator, helps loads in cooling, not sure if an Arosa one would be?

This place is good for radiator research with plenty of measurements to work from - http://www.radiatorshop.net/

The two radiators are similar in size. As for the outlets and the temperature valve they are on the same side and the only difference I can see is where the outlets are located in height, thus why the G40 one won't fit. I ll check if the Arosa one is a dual core as I am not sure!
