Title: Bigger Alternator

Does anyone know which alternator will fit straight onto my G40, obviously i would like the biggest one possible and dont want to spend a fortune in a custom made one.

Any ideas welcome

i don't think theres a direct replacement that gives a bigger output, but if you search alternator in the forum theres a few threads that say you can use an alternator from a big block (power steering/air con models) golf. From what i read you'll still have to put the polo pulley on the new alternator somehow.
