Title: What's this cam good for?
Post by: AlexG40 on April 11, 2012, 11:32:35 am
Hello,

I recently aquired this cam as part of something else I bought but I want to know what applications it has so I can either use it or sell it. It was originially intended for a PSD eaton conversion. It has a 280° profile on the exhaust cam and a 268° profile on the inlet and "needs
to be timed in at about 112°."

Anyone got any ideas?

Should be fine for any s/c application. Slightly larier than Schricks 252/276 designed for the G40- presumably to exploit the fact you can rev the Eaton harder than the g-lader.

When you say "any", are we talking from Stock right through to Eaton or is it only "high" boost s/c applications we're talking?  If it's s/c only then it's no use to me but it will help me to shift it if I can give examples of where it can be used.
