Title: 1.5 G40 using VW 1.5 Diesel block? Anyone?
Post by: Kovas on December 18, 2011, 11:30:36 pm
Hi guys,

I'm from Portugal and have a '91 Polo G40 and I'm about to buy a VW Golf mk1 1.5 petrol powered. I heard about some guys using the VW 1.5 Diesel block to bore the displacement of the G40 from 1.3L to 1.5L.

I've search around this forum to get some information but I was unlucky...

What do I need? I would really loved to build a Golf mk1 1.5 G40 but I need your help!

Thank you very much!

Kindest regards,
Kovas

You need 1W crankshaft and 77 mm special pistons. You can fit it into G40 block or 1W diesel block.
