Does anyone know the actual curb weight of a standard G40??
Thanks
-
830kg i thought
-
That's what I believed it to be until someone was trying to convince me that they were more like 770??

Click on articles at the top of.this page and go to the original specifications list

Cool thanks lads, I just wanted to know what I was working from as I want to start shedding the weight.
-
take it to a weigh bridge. 830 is only the "book" figure.
-
Just for anyone who cares. Took my g40 to a weigh bridge and it came out at 800kg dead. Have 4 steelies on so a standard g40 with BBS would probably be a bit lighter...

Probably heavier. standard / cheepo alloys typicaly weigh more than steelies.

Remember, 1 litre of petrol weighs about 0.7kg so the kerb weight will normally include for a full tank.
Adz, presumably you had a pretty empty tank when you weighed it (42 litres fuel is circa 30kg)?
-
Pretty empty yeah lol. Book figure right enough then...

My polo GT weighed 760kg with no rear interior. So add a charger, intercooler and additional weight and its getting that way.
