Title: G Standard Ride Height
Post by: dannyb.G40 on October 11, 2008, 10:21:39 am
Just a quick question! Im going to buy a lowering kit for the G but I heard a rumour that they are around 30mm lower as standard than other mk3's can anyone confirm if this is true or complete ballacks. If so would this make a 60mm kit obviously only another 30mm drop?

oh yeah and does anyone have opinions on which look better 60/40 or 60/60. I think i prefer 60/60 for a flatter stance, but a lot more people go for the 60/40 just wondering why.

Thanks for reading

Danny

Yes G40's are lower than other models, off the top of my head I think its 25mm.

Also given the cars are around 16 years old, if they're still on the original springs they may be a little lower still.
