Title: rear brake disks.
Post by: gavin.starr on June 29, 2011, 11:56:01 am
As some of you may be aware ive done the conversiion from genesis to g40. I want to put my rear disks on but i am a bit confused about the rear brake compensator.

Without buying the rear beam of the g40, and keeping my standard beam. Is there any recomendations that i should look into for the brake compensator.

I understand the G40 one adjusts due to whatever weight is in the car at the time and how low the car is due to its design. Would a bog standard manual adjust compensator be ok to use, but get it set up by using a rolling brake tester, like the ones they use to test your brakes at the MOT test's.
