Title: 'Uprated' G40 charger bits.
Post by: Justin14100 on October 14, 2010, 05:21:20 pm
been looking around on the german sites for funky G40 parts and noticed they sell 'uprated' things was wondering if they were actually worth anything or not.
BAR-TEK sell the uprated bearings:

anyone tried these - would they really offer the ability to run smaller pulleys like a 63/60mm on a toothed setup?
another one is these sealing stripes:

i spose the efficiency of the Glader is all dependent on how well these work - saw on ebay some uprated 'motorsport' stripes before too - might be worth a go if they can raise the boost slightly.
I know the beige strips get you a slight bit more boost so wonder what these would result in. did vw motorsport use different stripes?

I have used the SNR's in a few hardcore g-laders, eg loads of porting and small pulleys
