Hi there guys I'm looking to upgrade my brakes and I've seen a set of willwood mid-lites 4 pot calipers 280 mm brakes on rallydesign.co.uk and the kit they do is for mk1 golf was wondering if the would fit the g40 ???
Can anyone help please
Thanks

I believe Hayesey is using the mk1 Golf kit, but with 256mm discs.
-
The calipers on mk1 gti's are the same as G40's, so i see no problem in terms of mounting them to the hub. Question is what wheels you gonna squeeze them under? :D
-
Dusnt haysey have Hispecs?
-
No I have wilwoods, yes the mk1 golf kits fit.
-
Thanks guys I'm going for the 280 kit which will fit under any 15" wheels at the mo I've got lenso bsx but soon to have g60 bandded steels :)

Yeah they look alright. Personally I prefer ones with plastic whip guards on them as without they can fail quicker where they join the fittings.
