Title: willwood 4 pot calipers
Post by: chase_g40 on September 10, 2010, 10:34:05 am: Hi there guys I'm looking to upgrade my brakes and I've seen a set of willwood mid-lites 4 pot calipers 280 mm brakes on rallydesign.co.uk and the kit they do is for mk1 golf was wondering if the would fit the g40 ???

Can anyone help please

Post by: randombadger69 on September 10, 2010, 07:12:49 pm: The calipers on mk1 gti's are the same as G40's, so i see no problem in terms of mounting them to the hub. Question is what wheels you gonna squeeze them under? :D

Post by: hayesey on February 28, 2011, 07:41:14 pm: Yeah they look alright. Personally I prefer ones with plastic whip guards on them as without they can fail quicker where they join the fittings.
