Title: jabba r1 charger noise!

Got my G running a few days ago , and basically

It dosent sound to healthy yet it had a rebuild by jabba late 2007. and since then it did around 20'000 miles and the engine is standerd apart from the charger work.

If i put a screwdriver on the casing and put my ear on the casing i can hear a knocking/grinding noise.

Im gussing the berings are shot in it or something?

I hope not though dont fancy a big bill just yet haha

check the oil supply/return are both free by blowing down the return and the feed when disconnected gushes out when the engine is running (charger belts off!)

i've seen from your other post you might have oil pressure problems - these things could be related.

Check out g40chris's thread about his grindy charger and shit oil pump!
