Title: Removing dipstick tube.

How do you remove the dipstick tube from the back of the block I tried twisting it but I dnt thing it's threaded do you just pull it out ?

It's just push fit, mine didn't come out when hitting it with a rubber mallet, a couple of taps with a hammer had it out though.

it has got a little rubber seal around it which makes it act like a Chinese finger trap. remove dipstick as this helps when pulling the tube out. and the technique you need is to pull the tube out parallel with hole it's in. so don't just pull it at the end as it's curved. hold it further down and pull it out straight. Job done:-)
