Title: 175/60/13 tyres. what not to buy?
Post by: jaker272 on March 16, 2010, 12:01:33 pm
I know there are loads of topics about what are the best tyres, but i dont really need the best tyres. I just want something fairly cheap as i dont drive my car particularly hard, but dont want complete crap. Need 175/60/13 for standard g40 wheels.

Does anyone know what tyres i deffo should not buy? and what are ok value for money?

Cheers, Jake.

I always use 185/60 on the standard wheels. They are cheaper and easier to get. Won't rub on a standard car.

yokohama a539... They are good untill one point... The bad thing with yokos is that they handle at one point and then, you loose traction suddently. At wet, they are not good at all...
Go for the toyos, like Peter says. Good (better than a539s) and of course cheap!
