Title: 1341 tappets

Now there's 1341 tappets available. What's the difference between 1272 items and can a 1341 run without them (on 1272 jobbies)?

yes - you get 1341cc tappets at the hardware shop, where you also get tartan paint, chocolate teapots, buckets of smoke and long weights (waits!)

i presume you refer to the eaton cam in rfk demons for sale post.

I owned the eaton kit.  Tappets wear with cams so when you replace a cam its good to use new tappets.  Hence I sold the cam with the tappets which would have worn to the cam

You forget I know little about engines!

I'm just wondering if the right items have been used on mine, that's all!
