going off what you say it 99% has to be the pump

daft question is there fuel in the tank? how do you know the pump has fuel?

I have a brand new uprated bosch fuel pump if you want to buy it. Although you best of trying another fuel pump as they are about £100

unplug the filter hose and see if there is petrol coming out of the pump. just start at the lifter pump until you no longer get fuel

thanks for the reply ...  ill try to explain a bit better  :P a pipe comes from the fuel tank into a white box then out ov the re into a pipe going into the pump then out ov the pump into a pipe into the  filter then up to the injector rail i think ?? i have taken the pipe off the pump after the white box .when i turn the car on fuel is coming out ( into the pump  but when i take the pipe off the other side there is no fuel coming out but the pump is filling up / and yes there is about  a tenner in the tank.thaks  again  andy

definitely the inline pump not working there.  The lift pump will be feeding fuel into the inlet of the inline pump which doesn't sound like it's doing anything.  Before you spend £100 on a new one, make sure it's getting 12v to it.

yep, all you need to do is swap the end caps so you can plug in your wiring block.

it'll work but it's totally pointless and means you'll be pumping miles more fuel than you need to.

True, unless you are running some big power
