I, i have a problem in my G,
when i run it at low speed(no more than 3000 rpm) it seems to run normaly,
but, after i step on it(uper rpm\positive air pressure on inlet), when i take my foot of, and stabilised at low speed, it runs like jumping, like cuting of the engine and starts again.
this happens allways just after full trotle.
I already done the diagnostic test, and the computer says that the ecu don't recognises(no signal)
the co sensor and the blue temp. sensor.
i put new sensors and the ecu still don't recognises.
Wath it could be? Any ideas?
thanks

an ecu fault?
-
i already tested another ecu, and still the same problem.
-
sounds like the wiring is the problem then
-
thanks for your replys,
any idea about how can i test the wires?
-
Im havin the same problem, but mines overfueling. Need to chech that blue sensor wen i get some spare cash :$
-
just out of curiosity - how much does a blue sensor cost ? (anyone???)
I'm looking a Danish site called refako.dk (http://www.refako.dk/index.php?cPath=1_100000121_245000427_110000440_120001953&tPath=55)
and the blue censor cost dkr 240,- which is roughly around £24 GBP (not counting postage and pacageing)
-
well, here, in portugal, at vw, costs around 25 euros.
-
and about testing the wiring? i need some ideas. ??? :-\
-
you could start by using a multimeter to test the continuity of the wiring, its tedious but the only way.
If they are all okay then i suppose you'd have to try and find a wiring diagram and check they are correctly wired up.

My mate got a gsf one for his gti for about a tenner i think? If thats the same part at all?
-
Have you had it apart? stripped things recently? i've had a simliar scenario,
turns out the knock sensor and the co pot multiplugs, fit each other!
if you have had it apart, definitely check there on the right way round.
hope this helps.
