Hi
Sorry again for my ignorance with the following question. I have a 91 G40, and have managed to get the 'supercharged' rear badge; i think they were only on early 90H models?! I think they look fantastic and should never have been dropped on later models. Well basically i want to get the exactly correct positioning under the 'polo g40' badge. It is significantly shorter than the 'polo g40' badge. Could anyone post a pic of exactly where it should go. I know this is a very bizarre question lol.

My badge has lost the 'S' now, I knocked it off when poloshing it.
Can you tell me if the one you have is the same, and if so where did you get it?

and nicks which as far as i know is the original so this i sthe right sized one. i'd say Raw's one is an unoriginal, smaller one. i got mine from timsport..large size 13.5mm

could be the original badge but not the original place. i'd move it and t cut behind it and youll never know it was there.

Speaking to the Germans at the Polo Show last year, the 'Supercharged' was a marketing thing for VW UK only on the Corrado G60 and Polo G40. This explains why some do and some don't have the supercharged badge because it was up to the dealerships to put them on. Both the 1992 K-reg G40's i've owned had the supercharged badges fitted where Dan (Spaniel) has put his.

My K plater had one when purchased but the 'S' has since dropped off (seems to be a comman thing), still haven't found it yet either!!

got mine off ebay - found a guy selling all 3 badges (grille & bootlid g40 badge & s'charged badge)
No pic but mines like spaniels too!
