Hi all,
Well it is only a month away now until the Club G40 rally. The route and stop on the Saturday evening will follow much the same as last year. There are three plots booked on the campsite but this can be changed depending on numbers. It would be ideal if we could also book a table for the food for when we get there, last year it was very busy for food and there was a bit of a wait involved. So if people could indicate their interest that would be great. I don’t want to put people off by saying only put your name down if you are definitely going but I’d rather people only put their name down if they are commited to at least trying to make it. If we end up booking more plots on the campsite because people all say they want to camp and they don’t turn up, the club will end up paying extra for them and ClubG40 dosent make vast amounts of cash! Sorry to make it sound a tad draconian but you know how these things normally go.
Anyway to the event, later on Mr Hayes will put up full details of the route involved but basicall we will start off at the ladybower inn http://www.ladybower-inn.co.uk/ (http://www.ladybower-inn.co.uk/)(post code for satnav S33 0AX) at 1ish and once everyone is sorted etc we’ll set off on the route. Last year we had a spot of lunch and a drink whilst we waited for people to arrive as the ladybower inn is a nice pub itself. Pete and I will aim to be there from around 12:30 onwards. The G40 admin will make our phone numbers available to everyone in case you get lost or breakdown etc. Last years event was really good despite the rather inclement weather (it hammered it down with rain all day on the Saturday). So hopefully with some better weather this years will be even better. I’m sure Paul will chip in with how good the beer and the excellent pie was at the pub too!
So please add your names to the list and we hope to see you there! Pleas also indicate whether you would like to be on the stand at Tatton the following day too.

that boozer has the best pies I've ever had. Decent beer too for any fellow real ale fans :) A decent atmosphere in there too, it's not an old man's pub there were loads of younger people in there at night last year.
The route was great, if the rain holds off this time it'll be an awesome drive.

don't think mine's comin now, oh Sam, i won't be campin over as i have a wedding that night.
i will be going on the rally and i will be turning up sunday too. just not campin, ill be travelling back to sheffield at around 5:30pm

i would come to this if i could get day insurance for the lancia but id get it ripped out of me if i turned up in my 3series cabby.

I'm in the area on holiday that weekend, I'll try to get to the Ladybower and pop in for a pint and a chat.
Unfortunately I won't have the G with me as I still haven't sorted the box out though.

Camping is £12 per tent, and we've booked for three tents at the moment. We all squeezed in two tents last year but I think there was only 6 of us actually camped at the site. Nick are you camping or going home again?

Oh just to note we are meeting at 12:30 at the ladybower inn on the Saturday. I'm sure there will be a bit of milling about as people turn up and photos taken etc. As stated Pete and I will probably be there a little earlier than that and we will probably have a bit of lunch in the Ladybower inn if anyone fancies joining us for that.
On the Sunday we will be meeting at 9am at the little chef just down the road from Tatton. If you are late then you will have to make your own way into the showground and give one of us a ring. For those who havent got any of our numbers please drop me a pm and I'll supply you with contact numbers for us.

guys, we only have ten stand passes for tatton park. We'll have to do it so that the first ten to put their names on the list have priority. People who turn up late wil probably miss out. If you know you can't make it can you please remove your name from thel ist? can you also not add friends/girlfriends or whatever unless they are actually bringing their own car? Just so we know actual car numbers for the stand! cheers!

Right I've removed(well coloured it a poultry yellow anyway) my 10th place on the list due to the fact that I don't think I can commit for next weekend, and as there is a restriction on Stand Places, I only think it's fair. If I do find the time to do essential maintaince prior to next weekend then I will make an impromtu guest appearance, and take my place in the car park.

Yep think that would be good. We have had to use a bit of an overspill campsite as the original one is full. I dont mind camping at that one so most people will be on the original one.
As far as I know everyone who is on the list above is still coming to the rally on Saturday with the exception of DK.

We may get away without using the other campsite at all but we have 3 pitches for 12 people and two pitches for 4 people on the other site. The other site isnt full at the moment so I'm sure (but not 100% or committing) that we could get more spaces if we needed to.
If anyone knows different to the above please let me know asap. I shall post again later with the updated map and times for the start etc later. Oh and the weather forecast says sunny for both days at the moment so we can only live in hope! :)

As confirmed on PM I'm out of the running this year, so I'll only be able to look at your pictures next week and wish I'd tension my cam belt properly on the other car, hence not being able to spend the time on G leading up to this weeekend. Have a good weekend! ;) :( 8) :'( :) :)

Anyone coming along with good camera skills then? There is a great photo/vid oppurtunity when you have a convoy of G's going over the Langsett reservoir dam (just off the A628)

I'd been playing it by ear to see whether I'd be able to come this weekend, but unfortunately I can't. I need to get this low voltage problem looked at, and if I don't go up to the workshop tomorrow I won't get a chance till after Edition 38. :(

for some unknown reason i have started to change my cv boots tonight due to one splitting and have booked a spot on my mates ramp in the morning for a good old waxoiling. then need to wash and black the bumpers ready for ladybower, shouldn't delay me that much, see you all tomorrow
