Got a weird non start issue, once cars been up to temperature it won't always start. After nipping into a shop it normally will but if left for half an hour or so it either won't start, or will but if turned off a couple of minutes later it won't start again......
Changed blue temp sensor first and still an issue, hall sender was suggested but also hasn't sorted it.
At a loose end now and not sure where to look next, any ideas from anyone?
When I say won't start it will crank over fine but won't fire, will occasionally splutter as if it's going to fire though but will then just turn over :-\ once left til stone cold a couple of hours or 3 later it will start straight up

I've had this happen a few years ago - it was the wiring where it enters the blue temp sender plug. A new plug was scored from PPP, and the problem went away. 8)

Had exactly the same problem a couple of weeks ago, turned out to be exactly as stated above, the wiring just as it enters the plug, it seems to be a common problem with the entire wiring. Guess that is what happens with that many years of use.
