Title: K03 rebuild kits and transverse K03 cores

Does anyone know a decent source of rebuild kits for K03 turbos?  I've seen ones on ebay but am dubious of the quality.

Also, I know the K03 from transverse engine cars (mk4 golf gti etc...) are no good due to the shape of the housings.  But am I right to assume the core itself will be the same?  So I could take a transverse K03 and fit compressor & turbine housings I already have spare to the core of it?
