i think it may be a good idea, since they cost very little to put some new fuel pump relays in? so...where are they exactly? are they those cube things near the ecu? basically i want someone to talk to me about relays and which ones to change and possibly part numbers so i can order them.
something i havent changed and as they can die its probably worth it...
-
yeah the one of the two relays next to the ecu is it, ones a ecu relay and the other is a fuel pump relay, i changed mine not so long ago. ill try to get the part numbers for you asap
-
ecu relay about £20, fuel pump on is about £10 i believe

cheers mate that would be great! is it worth changing them? do they die from time to time?
-
the ecu one has died once on my g and once on gt...

To be honest, I'd not bother changing them. Buy replacements if you want, and keep them in the glovebox.
The biggest problem I've had is they're fairly exposed to the elements, so you tend to get corroded mank starting to cause continuity issues. I've had pump relays stick on, or just be so corroded they refuse to work. A clean up usually sorts the issue.

yeah i did clean them actually...might just leave them then...or get some at some point but if its unlikely for them just to break there is no rush...cheers for the info lads.

sorry been busy last couple of days, will get you the part numbers tomorrow
