Title: Wheel arch and sill protection
Post by: AxA on September 07, 2017, 05:09:31 pm
Hello,

Is it possible for someone to let me know what size and type of rivets are required to attach the plastic wheel arch protectors to body, same info required for the sill protectors if poss. Just preparing for restoration. Be brilliant if anyone knew exactly where to purchase them from.
Many thanks,
Neil

Probably not much help but the arches were plastic push type ones that go flush (36 of them), I've read you can still get them from VW but I don't have the part number.

The arch and sill trims are held on with black pop rivets, still available at VW a couple of years ago. I'll have a look in my receipt folder and see if I can find the part number.

All replies much appreciated. I sourced some original VW rivets from the supplied part numbers.
