the standard Polo G40 system is a 4-1 manifold into downpipe with Cat, then onto flexipipe with a straight resonator under the gearstick into a pipe then into the silencer.

So; 1 cat, (removable) 1 resonator (removable but makes the car sound like a farty metro In my opinion), 1 backbox.

I'm going to at some point inthe next few years... look into making just resonators to change the tone of the exhaust, to get rid of the "farty Metro" sound as I call it, they all sound the same, 1.0, 1.3's, GT's, G40's. Rubbish. Another thing I've considered is adding a valve or two. This is all purely to make it sound deeper, not bothered about performance, I've got enough ponies to let a few escape if it sounds good!
