Title: G40 Ball joints
Post by: Ian Johnson on March 01, 2017, 05:55:25 pm
Does anyone know the size of the ball joints on front arms....need to replace as I don't want to to get rid of the rose joints for new rubber bushed ones that can only be purchased nowadays.
Has anyone pressed out old and pressed in new ones ?

I've got a few sets of these in stock Ian, replace the stock rose joint and uses the standard 17mm ball joint.

You'll need to enlarge the TCA mounting hole to 1/2" bore (circa 10.5mm stock)

Allow some camber adjustment with an ARB, more if you have a full stage 3 frame.

Cheers

Pete

Hi Pete

Are these ok to fitted to stock chassis apart from hole enlargement, still running the cup top mounts so plenty of adjustment for camber/castor.

Didn't realise you still had these in stock Pete.

How much for a set?

Think I've got 2 pairs in stock, £225+postage (£15 UK Mainland)

Ian - Yes for sure, I would recommend replacing the standard rubber bushes (as supplied) with nylon counter parts (I sell these too).

Coupled with a set of adjustable top mounts you'll be able to perfect your camber, castor and KPI.

Cheers
