Title: Wiring question
Post by: physicsfool on March 11, 2015, 12:32:23 am
I am just about to wrap my light loom, but decided last minute to get rid of the repeaters as my mk2 doesn't have them. Now where they join at the plug is with the indicator wire into the same plug as shown in the picture

(http://i959.photobucket.com/albums/ae75/physicsfool/D983401A-3371-4022-AFF7-1798CBDA1917_zpslcqfonfc.jpg) (http://s959.photobucket.com/user/physicsfool/media/D983401A-3371-4022-AFF7-1798CBDA1917_zpslcqfonfc.jpg.html)

Can I just cut it by the plug?
Do I need to take the pin out and separate the wires there (if so how do the pins come out?)
Or any other suggestions

Cheers

the tool to remove the pins looks like a straw, i wouldnt cut the wire by the pin as it makes it dificult to reverse if you actually do need the wire. if you want to cut it short leave 2" on the length and tape it to another wire.
